Vacation with the family

Last week Connor, my Mom and I started our trip from H-E- double hockey sticks at 9am. We only had to turn around twice for my cell phone and Drivers Licence. When we arrived the guy at the desk said "uh you know your flight has been delayed by an hour right?" No I didn't know that but I guess I can push Connor from a 10 oclock nap to a 12 oclock nap. Then we had to go through security, which would have been awesome if I knew how to put the unbrella stroller together. My poor dad you could tell he wanted to leap over the security screen and help us (Connor would take off just as I was figuring out how to do it, so I would have to run back and get him then try it all over again) Not to mention how much STUFF we had, snacks, drinks, medicine, toys, books, diapers, wipes, ect. Once we got through the security man put my stroller together after having me take Connor's shoes off (since I could totally fit a weapon in there) Connor loved running up and down the walking streets, it really wore him out though, it was like a tredmill for him! 12 o'clock runs around and they start to line us up so I give Connor some tyleonal for ear pain and some bynadrle so he will sleep hopefully. Then they delay us another half hour and send us to another gate. At this point I have a very unhappy toddler who doesn't want to be held at all as we are waiting to get on the plane and everyone is staring at me like great screaming baby on a plane. Once we got on the plane he finally fell asleep and no one sat next to my mom and I so we had plenty of room. After take off Connor awakes with this blood curdling scream (that lasted for maybe half an hour) he's arching his back, crying like I've never seen him cry pulling his ear off pretty much. My Mom had me convinced I had overdosed him on byadril and we somehow needed medical assistance and should have gotten off the plane. I was practically in tears because I felt so helpless and there was nothing I could do. Finally his ears must have popped because he was happy as a clam. Till we landed and it felt worse than before. Getting off the plane was horrible everyone was late for their connections and in a bad mood they were all staring at me like I was the worst person in the world. So they announce where our gate is and said we have missed our connection but have rearranged a different flight for us. The flight was going to LA where we had to change planes again then to Tucson. No thank you. So we spent another three hours in Las Vegas where I pushed Connor in his stroller while my Mom sat at the slot machines. Someone on our plane had suggested that we give him a nose spray (thank you affrin!) before the next flight to help with his ears. Connor was as happy as a clam (a tired one) rolling around on the floor of the plane trying to get comfy to go to sleep. 9pm our plane landed, we got our rental car then picked up our garage door openers and key to the front door, Connor is out in the back seat sound asleep and very dirty. When we get to the house the garage door opener doesn't work (my mom had brought the one for the gate not the house) but we have a key so it's fine right? No there was a bogane vea (large plant) completely blocking the front door and poor Connor is now awake crying in the back seat. So as determind and I was I crawled under the plant while my Mom held it up with the umbrella stroller and unlocked the front door. Yay! we were in finally!! Then we had to wash Connor's blanket set up his bed and give him a bath too. He was discusting and so was meme. Around 11 I called Gary and we were waiting for meme to dry so we had on baby einstine and he said is that Connor I hear why is he up. We finally were all in bed around midnight. untill 5am the next morning:)

The rest of the trip was awesome after we got some sleep! Seeing Connor run aorund with his cousins and have such a blast was great! We also got to visit my Grandpa which was great. I miss him a lot and was really happy to see him. I know that this will probably be the last time I see him, he looks so much different from just a year ago:(

The way home was great too. Connor slept the whole way home! So if anyone travels with a toddler or baby affrin can work myricals!!!
