Call me crazy but I absolutely loved being pregnant! Until about week 39:) After finding out I was prego I knew my whole life was about to change, no more bar hopping, no more cute jeans, no more sushi! But it was all worth providing a happy home for my little baby. I got sick about 5 times during my pregnancy 6 if you count the time at the hospital, which some people get sick that many times a day! I stayed very busy while I was pregnant, I coached the JV cheerleading team at the high school and worked as the preschool teacher at the Goddard school. It made since to me that I was tired all the time working from 7am-4pm at Goddard and 6-9pm at the high school and my body was working hard to create the little baby inside me. Maybe all that hard work kept me healthy, but it also kept me from having the energy to run an 8 minute mile that I used to and I couldn't do sit ups any more. I was a very hands on coach I ran and worked out with my girls and showed them what I wanted them to do instead of telling them, so the change was hard but once I told them the exciting news they got it and supported my change, but hey the fact they could run the mile faster than me gave them confidence. They were so much fun to be around always touching my belly rubbing it for good luck before competing. Luckily they were really the only people besides my family and close friends who wanted to touch my belly so I never really minded it, I've heard the stories about old Asian women coming up to pregnant people and touching them, but again I never had that:) The weirdest thing I ever had was always the checkers at the grocery store asking about my pregnancy and one even said wow you look ripe and I wasn't sure if they were talking about me or the strawberries I was buying! I have no idea how people hide being pregnant I had a giant beach ball sticking out of me. I defiantly started looking prego and not just a little chunky at four months which was nice and I loved my belly even when I was 40 weeks along. It was my little self where I could rest a glass of water or bowl of cereal on:)
On December 18th 2008 we had our big ultra sound appointment I was leaving in the next couple of days for Arizona to spend Christmas with my family that lives down there. It was snowing and we could barley get down the driveway my Mom had to drive us and if you know my Mom you know she doesn't leave the house in any snow! It was a scary drive but I really wanted to confirm my hopes and thoughts that we were having a boy. We made it and sure enough the doctor said "that's defiantly not a leg" Connor was happy and proud to show of he was for sure a boy! Gary and I were so excited and smiling from ear to ear:)
Below are all the pictures of my growing belly and yes they are backwards I'm still learning how to blog!

Here we are at the doctor!
